World Harmony Run - Oxford
2006-10-06 11:23 AM | Posted by Tejvan Pettinger | Permanent Link | Sri Chinmoy, World Harmony RunToday the World Harmony Run visited Oxford. In the morning the runners came in through Kingston Bagpuize and Cumnor. I met them in Botley and we ran in. The weather was typical English Autumn and at times the rain was very heavy. During the course of the day the runners visited 3 schools. The runners introduce themselves in their own language and speak a little about the run and what harmony means. At all the schools the runners sang the World Harmony Run song.
In the afternoon the run visited Lark Rise Primary School. I cycle past this school every day on the way to work it great to be visiting as part of the World Harmony Run Team. The weather was much better and the schoolchildren really enjoyed becoming part of the run.
