floccinaucinihilification is the habit of seeing no value in everything.
(thanks to Steve Guy, English teacher in Cambridge, originally from Blackpool, who frequently shares words of wisdom with me)
I wonder what the opposite word is: the habit of seeing value in everything.
"There are only two ways to live your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as if everything is."
- Albert Einstein
In meditation we try to change our perspective on the world. Through meditation we are seeking not to look upon the world with a critical and depressed mind. But, we try to be at one with the inner reality.
"The entire world may not change. The entire world cannot change. The entire world even will not change. But your tiny world you can and will change forever at this very moment with the help of your confidence-heart. Yours will be the unparalleled victory."
