I can listen to this over and over again.
The clip missed out the last sentence, when Reginald Perrin says: "It's absolute rubbish, in fact, its neo rubbish and crypto rubbish...."

A 116 year old Ukrainian, who is one of the oldest living people, attributes his longevity to two things: celibacy and being stupid.
Hryhoriy Nestor, has never had a wife, and as a Christian has practised the philosophy of no sex before marriage.
"According to my Christian beliefs there is no sex before marriage, so I never had a wife." He went on to say that people who get married spend all the time arguing. He also believes that leading a simple life leads to longevity.
"People, who know too much always come to a nasty end. better to stay stupid and not wonder too much about anything."
Nestor used to work as a shepherd of goats.
It would make an interesting self help book. "The Secrets of Long-life: Celibacy and Stupidity" - but I can't see it selling too many copies...
Quite recently, I have become motivated to learn proper grammar and punctuation. Previously, I never really bothered about grammar, much to the chagrin of my sister - Lynne. In fact, I have often "joked" about grammar; see these posts on:
My philosophy is that to learn something, you need to teach it. I hope these are all correct:
My New Wordpress Blog: Net Writing
100 Places to see before you die - I would add several places in India, but it looks good.
Shane Magee.com I will be interested to see Shane's blog develop, Shane comes from Ireland.
Shardul.co.nz - Another friend with a wordpress blog. Shardul lives in Auckland, New Zealand. He has actually written a book of his numerous hospital visits. I found this a very good read, I feel rather fortunate not to have gone through all those experiences. Shardul has written a biography of Sri Chinmoy
Universal Leonardo - The great Master Leonardo da Vinci. I have posted about Leonardo previously. Leonardo da Vinci.
Funny
During my school years, one of the few authors I read, (apart from Tolkien) was George Orwell. At the time, I was fascinated with his books, "Homage to Catalonia", "The Road to Wigan Pier", and "Down and Out in Paris and London". A feature of Orwell's writings, was that he always seemed able to see both points of view. Thus, although he was a committed Socialist, he powerfully portrayed the failings of his own ideological supporters.
"If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear."
"Sometimes the first duty of intelligent men is the restatement of the obvious. "
"I think we're on a winner here Trig, alright, play it nice and cool son, nice and cool, you know what I mean..."

Ashrita recently set a new record for backward bowling of 199.
After months of practicing for over two hours every day, Furman regained the record with a 199 at the AMF Van Wyck Lanes in Richmond Hill on April 11 in front of several official scorers. It took him five practice games before he could surpass Scrandis.
“It’s a real science. It takes tremendous focus,” he said of the sport. [1]
Once officially certified by Guinness, this will be Ashrita's 145th record he has broken since 1979 Ashrita currently holds 62 recoreds
I only saw Ashrita once or twice during my stay in New York. One time was just after he had broken a new record for backward bowling. Ashrita was very happy and full of energy and enthusiasm. I think 199 is a pretty good score bowling forward let alone going backwards.
This photo is from Ashrita's blog entry about his first record attempt. Power of Positive Thinking
Ashrita is a student of Sri Chinmoy and manages a health food store on Parsons Boulevard, Jamaica New York.`
